AKMuans at Alpha Upsilon Chapter (Stillman College), Dr. Norman Golar and Dr. Cynthia Smith, Director of Region IV-A, invite you to join us for the 68th National Convention in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, March 26-29.
The Courtyard by Marriott-Tuscaloosa, 4115 Courtney Drive, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405 is the Convention Hotel. Most events will take place on the beautiful campus of Stillman College.
HOTEL RESERVATIONS: For hotel reservations at Courtyard by Marriott-Tuscaloosa, please use the following Booking Link –Book your group rate for Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society. The Group Name – Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society. Group Code: KAP, call 1-800-321-2211 or call the hotel direct at 205-750-8384. Make sure you reserve under the name, Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society. Reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card or with an advance deposit for the first night's stay, prior to arrival.
Cancellations: Individual reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to guest arrival. Please note that first night room and tax deposit is nonrefundable.
ROOM AND RATES: The rate is $119 per room per night. (standard king or double). Rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes in effect (currently 15 percent) at time of check out.

RESERVATION CUT OFF DATE: Reservations by attendees must be received on or before TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11. At the Cut-Off Date, Hotel will review the reservation pickup for the event, release the unreserved rooms for general sale, and determine whether it can accept reservations based on a space and rate available basis at the Alpha Kappa Mu National Honor Society rate after this date. Reservations received after the cut-off date may be accepted based on rate and availability.
REGISTRATION FEES: The Chapter Registration fee is $30. The Convention Registration fee is $100 per person. Each Chapter which has paid the chapter fee/tax of $30 at least 30 days prior to the Convention, the National organization will pay the registration fee for one delegate to attend the National Convention. (Article XII, Section 5).
